Keynote Speakers
Hugh DellarHugh Dellar is a teacher, EFL coordinator and teacher trainer at the University of Westminster. He has been teaching since 1993, predominantly in the UK but he also spent three years teaching in Jakarta, Indonesia. He is co-author of Outcomes and Innovations and the online teacher development course Teaching Lexically all written with Andrew Walkely. In his spare time Hugh reads voraciously and loves cooking and travelling.

Maureen McGarveyI am a freelance educational consultant, specialising in academic manager development and whole school transformation processes. I have been involved in management training for the past 15 years, writing, and running a range of distance, face to face, and online training programmes for academic managers. I wrote the management module for the MSc in TESOL previously offered by Aston University, and was subject tutor and dissertation supervisor for that module for several years. I have also tutored the management module for the MA in TESOL offered by Westminster University. I have been a committee member of the Leadership and Management Special Interest Group for IATEFL, and am Chair of the IATEFL Scholarship Committee, responsible for managing the IATEFL scholarship scheme. I am a frequent conference speaker on topics related to academic management and online training.

Sanda Sandu lucrează în calitate de Manager Proiect și e co-fondatoare a organizației ASIST. Sanda lucrează în calitate de cercetător la proiectul Media Influence Matrix în cadrul Centrului pentru media, data și societatea, de asemenea, e asociată think tank-ului Government Transparency Institute din Budapesta. A studiat Masteratul în cadrul Universității Central Europene din Ungaria Școala de Politici Publice și a absolvit Școala de drept de la Riga în programul avansat în Drept și Economie. Sanda este implicată activ în elaborarea de politici în Republica Moldova. Acționează ca expert în securitate la Centrul de Informații și Documentare NATO din Moldova. Sanda a scris o serie de articole și studii politice care vizează subiecte referitoare la justiția militară, reforma sectorului de securitate, analizând implicațiile corupției asupra securității și apărării în Republica Moldova.
